Child Development Associate
Mile High Early Learning’s Child Development Associate (CDA) training program helps participants earn their required CDA training hours through a structured course that breaks up content into weekly modules and includes portfolio prep and support.
The CDA Credential is the most widely known and valued credential in early childhood education.
Our CDA program focuses on those who are beginning their profession as an early childhood educator including teacher assistants, staff aides, and teachers without previous early childhood education experience. The program is comprised of 120 hours of content training and up to 15 hours of coaching.
Participants who complete Mile High Early Learning’s CDA training and seminar and successfully earn a CDA credential are eligible to apply for PLA (Prior Learning Assessment) credit at all of Colorado’s two-year institutions.
We currently offer our CDA training fully online.
Mile High Early Learning’s CDA program was awarded the Gold Standard Training Certification from the Council for Professional Recognition.
“Taking MHEL’s CDA training course was the best way to solidify and educate myself on the real work I was already doing in the classroom. I learned so many new strategies, procedures, and best practices to use which created a wonderful base for me to start my career as an early childhood educator.”
